Pedro Palau
Managing Partner
After a worth noticing experience in KPMG Milan, audit and corporate finance, started in 1992 and subsequent partnerships with Tax and Law Firms focused in corporate issues, international tax and business valuation, he founded Palau Partners in 1998.
Today, he mainly deals with M&A and Private Equity transactions, financial restructuring and management activities, as well as managing the corporate, tax and financial advisory carried out by Palau Partners’ dedicated team.
He holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors and Statutory Auditor of several companies belonging mainly to private equity funds, infrastructure funds and multinationals. He is also an independent member of the boards of directors of major companies and a voluntary liquidator or CRO in restructuring operations.
Chartered Accountant since 1997, Statutory Auditor since 1999, he graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Genoa.

Enrico Scio
Senior Partner – of counsel
Founding partner of Palau Partners, he also founded his own firm Scio e Associati in Brescia in 1987, mainly dealing with management consulting and M&A transactions.
He has been and is a member and Chairman of numerous Boards of Statutory Auditors of companies belonging to Private Equity funds and multinational groups, as well as Managing Director and independent member of Boards of Directors of major Italian companies.
Today he mainly dedicates to M&A and corporate finance activities, being also a founding partner of the consultancy firm FAI – Futuro all’Impresa.
Chartered Accountant since 1987, Statutory Auditor since 1995, he graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Parma.

Lorenzo Costa
Partner
After a worth noticing experience in both, companies dealing with environmental matters and important accountancy firms in Milan, he joined Palau Partners in 2008.
He acquired valuable experience in the corporate and tax field, specializing mainly in the drafting of financial statements, the verification of correct organizational and administrative accounting structures, and the voluntary liquidation of companies.
He has served and still serves as Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors, Statutory Auditor and Director in several companies, as well as Liquidator.
Chartered Accountant and Auditor since 2011, he graduated in Business Economics from Università Luigi Bocconi of Milan.

Francesco Pareti
Partner
After qualifying as a freelancer, he acquired a long, worth noticing experience in a leading firm in Milan. In 2012, he decided to strike out on his own, collaborating with various firms before joining Palau Partners in 2014.
He has consolidated experience in accounting, tax and corporate assistance as well as company valuation. Over the years, he has delved into tax litigation issues, assisting clients before the Tax Courts. He holds positions as an auditor and statutory auditor.
He has been a Chartered Accountant and Auditor since 2008, and he graduated in Business Economics from Università Luigi Bocconi of Milan.

Deborah De Crescenzo
Salary Partner
After starting her corporate career in 2006, both in administrative and commercial areas, she acquired a worth noticing experience in prestigious professional firms in Milan, before joining Palau Partners in 2012.
She has a strong expertise in accounting, tax and corporate assistance and in the drafting of financial statements of corporations. Now she supervises the drafting of corporate and individual company declarations and coordinates the accounting team, thanks to her extensive experience in the above-mentioned areas. She also assists clients in special activities such as Italian flat tax regime or issues related to international taxation. She also provides support in extraordinary transactions.
She graduated in Economics and Commerce from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan.
